Just Getting Warmed Up!

Just Getting Warmed Up!

Well it is official, we just completed our first week of our "living experiment" towards Psalmic practices on our blog; did you notice? Did you find something on our blog that you liked?  Did anything get under your skin in a good or bad way?

We are having so much fun learning how to become more responsive in our spiritual journeys, both with people and with God.  In fact, focusing on a responsive approach, made it much easier to stop and notice the divine moments that are happening literally right in front of us, every moment of the day.  Do you find it easy or difficult to sense the pull of the divine in the everyday moments of your day?

DIGEST: OCTOBER 22, 2017

  • Ben dives into the provocative new John Mark McMillan song Mercury + Lightning.  We especially love his acoustic cover of the song.
  • Karla had the privilege of spending a morning with Jason Upton last week, pretty exciting for her because she has been a fan of his for a long time (check out her fangirl smile in this pic)!  Thanks to Jason Upton for taking the time and for a really inspiring discussion about faith an art.
  • We are having fun on Facebook these days. In fact, we are giving away a free digital album to anyone who posts a video of themselves singing one of our tunes!  What is your favourite?  Here is a quick link to our free charts!

COMING NEXT WEEK

  • Ben and Karla are exploring how we can kickstart our creativity toward a sustainable, daily way.  Look for some fun prompts and some new song bits on the blog this week!
  • Join Ben and Karla for a Facebook Live session around 7pm MST this Wednesday Oct 25.
  • Hashtag Communities are a really fun way to share your story and stay connected with us on Instagram.  We will post a new hashtag each week, simply post a photo that is inspired/connected to the weekly hashtag and tag us @entertheworshipcircle.  We can't wait to see your photos and we will even be reposting a few as well!
  • This week's hashtag is #creativepaths
