All About the People
I am always amazed at how amazing people are, and this is true about everywhere I go. From the streets of Moscow, to the mountains of Peru, to the living room of the Hiltebrand's in Madera, California tuning up the sweet kid's guitar. All the same. Amazing.
Dear Dawn, thanks for blowing my low-carb eating habits with your chocolate chip scones. Hey, Gideon, I hope that new guitar tuning helps you as your roam the property like a tiny Roy Rogers. Hey, David, I am so glad that God let me see the miraculous healing of your "redeye" and thanks, Randy, for giving me the long distance prophetic clue. God bless street tacos. May your almonds turn into gold nuggets, Central Valley, and may Kuppa Joy continue to explode with great people and great espresso. Thanks, Rich, Ken, Marcus and Chrissy for helping us feel welcome and encouraging us to rehearse while we had the space. Gina and Kevin, we are coming to Oakland, hurry up and find the venue. Hey, Brian Vickers, thanks for the tips on the airplane about switching to Android, and on how to reconsider driving live-loops from the stage, you were a bearded angel, now get a haircut.
I sit in my quiet space I call The Hemingway today, a Yeti full of pour-over, and a cheap cigar. Thinking and thinking, I can't get people out of my mind.
