No kidding, we have added two never released tracks!

All the main "circle" albums are back on streaming and digital sales sites: First Circle, Second Circle, Third Circle, and now, Fourth Circle. All of them have been remastered, which updates their overall sound quality, and the super bonus on this albums is the inclusion of two never released tracks. A wonderful song written by Laurie Thornton called Hide Myself and a tender solo tune written and performed by Robin Pasley, Show Me the Wonders.

While the song Hide Myself gathers visual idea from several Psalms about hiding in God and finding refuge in him, the line "your level ground quicken our steps" recounts Psalm 143:10b (ESV), "Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground." Here the Psalmist shows us that it is  OK to ask God for favor in times when you don't seem to be getting any, or to thank him profusely when you are living in total prosperity. Leaning into God always means looking for a better outcome because his heart is so rich toward us.

Robin's work on Show Me the Wonders takes a more literal approach from Psalm 17:7-9 when she quotes almost verbatim: "Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who are out to destroy me, from my mortal enemies who surround me." Her refrain, "oh, You hold ... salvation in Your hands" reminds us that just stating the truth aloud is often enough to change the atmosphere we are in. It may not seem that God is in the middle of the struggle with us, but actually, He is not only in the middle of it, but He has also designed a rescue because He loves us so much! We really are the apple of His eye!
